1.Tommy Flanagan's Acting Debut
Flanagan had a two-decade-long successful acting career before landing Chibs Telford role in Sons of Anarchy. He made his acting debut in 1992 in BBC's anthology TV series, Screen One. Tommy Flanagan played an uncredited role in just one episode of the show. However, in the subsequent years, he acted in two Scottish TV films, Tis the Season to be Jolly and Jolly: A Life. Tommy Flanagan received nationwide recognition when he played Tam McLeod in one of the episodes of famous Scottish crime detective TV series, Taggart.

Tommy Flanagan first played Morrison role in Mel Gibson's epic war thriller, Braveheart (1995.) It was the beginning of his acting career. One of the few things that set him apart from the other actors is his facial scars. Tommy Flanagan was born and raised in a rough neighborhood of Glasgow, Scotland. During his younger years, he worked at a local nightclub as a DJ. One day, he was attacked by a group of armed robbers. Flanagan fought back, and as a result, he got stabbed in his face by those robbers. Sadly, they slashed his face from ear to ear, leaving the Scottish star in a pool of blood. Luckily, he survived the attack and went on to become one of the famous Scottish actors in the world.
